Fatmanur Gürsoy from Yildiz Technical University will give a talk titled “Gray Isometries for Finite Chain Rings" on November 7, 2018 at 15.30 in the room E-2032.

Abstract: In 1994, Hammons et al. have shown that some important non-linear code families could be obtained as the Gray images of Z_4-linear codes. Research is being done to generalize the identified Gray map on different rings. In this seminar, a study that describes the Gray isometries for Finite Chain Rings will be discussed.
